Patty is sitting on the back of the chair in the bedroom as Violet sits on the floor by the bed looking at a book. Patty asks, “Why don’t we chip in, and get Charlie Brown something for his birthday?”
They go down the stairs and she continues, “We could buy him a football or a hockey stick…”
She continues as they put on their coats, “Or else we could get him something ‘useful’…” Violet asks, “You mean something to wear?”
She smiles as they walk down the lane and Patty replies, “That would be a dirty trick, wouldn’t it?”

Why is the original comic missing the final panel?
Good catch, I’ll fix that. It’s because the original is poor quality and the ImageMagick command I use to rearrange the panels choked on it, thinking that it was just noise or something.
