One thing maybe I’ve learned from Thorgal is that “the Thing” is pretty important indeed, in terms of major cultural meetings / discussions.

Totally different in today’s loose terminology, but “the Thing”… had some typically HUGE implications upon how a peoples should pursue their needs. Kind like an Nordic Supreme Court, maybe?
