I’m sure he was looking at him in real life, it just looks a little off to my brain with the camera angles.

It looks like a house to me, is it common in Australia to have your sofa in an elevated booth in your house? Legitimately asking, I’ve never been in an Australian home, so I have no clue. I’ve only been in elevated booths in restaurants and you still had to look up at someone standing next to the booth.
Adorableness does not a quality meme make.
Same exact thing as “How can mirrors be real if our eyes aren’t real?”
Why is the standing guy looking down but the sitting guy is looking straight ahead? Other than that, it’s funny!

Sorry you’re getting downvoted for being right, this “format” makes no sense.
Yeah, the comic adds absolutely nothing to this very tired “fun fact”, it’s not a successful meme format at all imo.

Technology@lemmy.world•Man sues Apple for accidentally exposing his infidelityEnglish
52·2 years agoNo, the issue is that he didn’t understand how the technology he was using worked. I mean, one of Apple’s most prevalently advertised features is their product integration, it’s like, their whole deal.
Key people: Jaime Harrison (Chair) Chris Korge (Finance chair) Jason Rae (Secretary)

21·2 years agoThey’re mad about the colonizers’ cattle-grazing taking land and resources away from the colonizees’ potential bison-grazing land. Cattle is the specific name for the animal beef comes from, it’s not an umbrella term for anything that grazes.

politics @lemmy.world•GOP candidate demands Brittney Griner get sent back to Russian prisonEnglish
162·2 years agoYes it is, because “boomers,” by definition of the word’s intended memetic use, are old yes, but more specifically they are old rich people in power. Using “boomer” as an insult doesn’t hurt them. Meanwhile the actual boomers are literally trying to stigmatize and criminalize queerness. It’s the same logic that makes it ok (encouraged even) to be racist against white people, it just doesn’t affect us.

Yeah, there’s no real juxtaposition here, the bottom picture leads directly to the top picture.
